The Good General was known to like like the fermented bean chunks too.

What You’re Gonna Need:
- 1 container (13 oz?) Extra Firm Tofu, diced into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 cup Broccoli Florets chopped into bite-size pieces cut in bite-size pieces
- ½ Orange or Red Bell Pepper cored, seeded, 1/2-inch dice (about 1/2 cup)
- ½ Tbsp peeled and minced Garlic
- ½ Tbsp peeled and minced Ginger
- 2 Tbsp trimmed minced green onion whites and the green parts thinly sliced for garnish minced green onion whites, green parts thinly sliced, for garnish
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- ½ cup sauce in the style of General Tso
- ½ Tbsp (roasted) sesame seeds
What Ya Gotta Do:
- Let’s blanche, babies!
- Add tofu to large pot boiling water; blanch 2 min. Drain; set aside.
- Return water to boil; add broccoli. Blanch 2 min. Drain; set aside.
- Heat a (preferably) stir-fry pan on medium heat.
- Add oil and red peppers. Cook, stirring, 2 min.
- Add that garlic, ginger, minced green onion whites, and red pepper flakes; cook, stirring, about 1 min until soft but not browned.
- Add tofu and stir it all up.
- While increasing heat to high, add the Good General’s sauce. Cook, stirring, about 1 min until tofu is glazed.
- Add zee broccoli and cook, stirring, 30 sec.
- Plop it into a bowl and garnish with thinly sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
- EAT IT!
